About The Area
Hale Farm is a working, family run farm situated in 56 acres of peaceful, rural Sussex countryside. A beautiful rural location with the opportunity to meet our farm residents.
What we love most about our Hale Farm site is the beautiful summer wildflower meadows. Or perhaps it’s the stunning clear skies and heart-stopping sunsets? Judge for yourself what makes Hale Farm such a fairy-tale retreat…
During your stay you can meet Oreo, Bailey and Tilly our friendly donkeys and pony. See Percy, Penny, Pippa and Poppy some of our rare breed Oxford, Sandy and Black pigs, lying in the sunshine or rooting around in the soil. Enjoy feeding our free range chickens, geese and resident ducks. Meet Angel and Angelica our Pygmy goats with their adorable kids Frodo, Florence and Bluebell and watch our pedigree flocks of Lleyn and Ryeland sheep grazing across the farm.

The farm area is open daily from 9.00am - 10.30am. Please feel free to visit the farm animals during this time, at your own leisure. Animal feed is also available to purchase for 20 pence per bag so children can feed the animals.
Please always remember to wash your hands after any contact with the animals and before leaving the animal contact area.
We take our health and safety obligations very seriously and ask that you do too. Thorough hand washing with soap and water is recommended as the only effective way of reducing the risk of infections such as E coli and crypto sporidium.
